Each year, thousands of trekkers tackle the 75km West Coast Trail between Bamfield and Port Renfrew on Vancouver Island.
Of these trekkers, hundreds come from other countries: many are repeat performers; no one forgets the experience!
Hiking the West Coast Trail — as with any world-class trek — can be a time of intense pleasure… or exhausting agony.
The difference is usually in the amount of care taken in preparing for the trip.
While Dave Foster passed away in 2018, his experience, sense of humour and critical eye is still very much felt in this new, 10th edition of Blisters and Bliss.
I hope it will make your adventure more safe and enjoyable.
